How lovely and unexpected to receive your postcard! It is the first piece of friendly mail I have had since setting up in this toxic soup bowl. I wish people would keep their junk mail to themselves.
Nice round-about. Parking and everything!! Good luck with your pursuit of the little-known round-about in deep Swazi. They could use a bit of round-about technology here in LA, if you ask me. The four-way stop sign is an out-dated method of traffic control.
Should our American friends embrace such systems here in the near future, I will let you know.
I don't yet know if I know enough people - expect another card in a few months, when I run out! Yes, I will track you down where ever you may be shooting at that point.
There really is nothing like discovering a postcard in your mailbox is there? Except maybe finding a really special roundabout...
An unusual communication project. Everyone loves to get mail - so long as it's not a bill. And if you know me and I've got your address, expect a postcard some time in the next 365 days. I hope not only to distract you from the bills, but to re-connect with you in what's becoming a quaint, old-fashioned way of communicating. For me, it's a chance to test my creative mind every day. Every postcard will be unique. Nothing written will be repeated. I'll be keeping a track of what I send to where. If you get a postcard, I hope you log on tell me what you think. I think it will be an interesting project and I'm not sure exactly how it will unfold. Check back to find out!
