What a lovely surprise to receive your postcard. It is currently Ramadan and very hot here in Dubai. We are thinking of a place to travel in the Middle East for our Eid holiday, and thanks to you we will not even consider Qatar ;) Ha ha. Thanks Bim, I love my postcard. It is on the wall of my classroom! xox
Glad it finally got through - I was thinking it might have been censored by the ramadan fun police in solidarity with their Qatari brothers across the way.
An unusual communication project. Everyone loves to get mail - so long as it's not a bill. And if you know me and I've got your address, expect a postcard some time in the next 365 days. I hope not only to distract you from the bills, but to re-connect with you in what's becoming a quaint, old-fashioned way of communicating. For me, it's a chance to test my creative mind every day. Every postcard will be unique. Nothing written will be repeated. I'll be keeping a track of what I send to where. If you get a postcard, I hope you log on tell me what you think. I think it will be an interesting project and I'm not sure exactly how it will unfold. Check back to find out!
